This unsigned mid-century bracelet features turquoise blue thermoset links set in silver-tone leaf frames. The luminous molded inserts and flexible link design are consistent with the era’s fascination for lightweight, modern plastics. Pieces like this were popularized by makers such as Lisner and Coro, who used thermoset material for its soft glow and color range. Though unmarked, the construction and finish suggest a similar production origin.
The bracelet measures 7 inches long and secures with a fold-over clasp — comfortable, classic, and distinctly mid-century in feel. Stylistically linked to Lisner’s “Moonglow” and “Sea Breeze” thermoset collections (1958–1962). These lines featured molded marquise inserts framed by silver-tone leaf scrolls. Many unsigned versions were manufactured for department-store sale using Lisner molds or subcontracted assemblers.
Learning Note:
Thermoset plastics became a hallmark of 1950s jewelry manufacturing, allowing designers to mold opaque, glowing shapes in vivid colors. Companies like Lisner, Coro, and Sarah Coventry led the trend, often outsourcing unmarked versions for store-brand lines. Collectors prize these pieces for their futuristic textures and unmistakable mid-century color palettes.
